That’s All Folks!
Well, that was my year, the previous shot was the last one of this photo project. I started the project year ago at the same spot I completed it, how clever is that! Not too clever, I guess. Anyways, The 365 Project has reached it’s end today, though I missed three photos, of which I may blame the lack of Internet connection in Sweden and the enormous jetlag in the States. All the way from the first day, I decided not to make it strict that I take the photo the day I post it, since I was sure that most of the shots would have been just snapshots at my apartment, not cool at all. However, I’m pretty proud of myself of completing this project, though majority of the shots have been uploaded around 23:55 and the rest on the following day. All of the shots, except one (which Markus took with his phone), have been taken with my dear phone that has had rough time capturing the moments, the glass at the back took serious damage. About 99,9% of the photos were taken or retouched with Hipstamatic or Instagram, two helluva apps, worth checking out! Counting out the three non-square shots, the rest were framed at 1:1. The reason is that the square-format is (or atleast was) the most difficult for me, so I moved outside my comfort zone and as a result, I’m not scared of square format anymore, it’s inside my comfort zone now. As they say; move out from your comfort zone to enhance your skills!
Anyway, let’s cut the crap. The greatest reward of this project was the feedback I’ve gotten from you! Big thanks, I really appreciate it! All of the comments and Likes has made my day more than once, thanks!
Time to move on, earlier today I launched the new style of my site at pertturistimella.com, go check it out!
Cheers,
Perttu
